Hi and welcome to the first post on our bookstore bakery blog! Whether you’re here for the cupcakes, the books, or both, I’m so glad you’ve found your way to this little space where my two greatest loves come together.

If we haven’t met yet, I’m Jaimi-Lynn - a lifelong baker, avid reader, and now the proud creator of this home bakery. Since childhood, I’ve been happiest with a whisk in one hand and a good book in the other. Starting this business is the fulfillment of a dream to bring a little more sweetness (and a lot more stories) into the world.

Here on the blog, I’ll share updates about the bakery, sneak peeks of new products, and behind-the-scenes glimpses of the journey to eventually opening a storefront in Smithville by the end of 2025. You’ll also find posts about my favorite book recommendations, upcoming events, and maybe even a few stories from my baking adventures.
